Riesling

WINEMAKER NOTES

Though shadowed by more prominent wine varietals the last two decades, Riesling is making a come-back. Harvested from our estate vineyards in Clarksburg and cool climate vineyards in Monterey County, this grape loves warm days and cool nights. The balancing act of crisp acidity and residual sweetness duels seductively on the palate. Fresh green apple and pear predominate, while peaches peek provocatively. Spicy tones of clove and allspice lend a pleasant and luscious thickness while hints of honeyed blossoms add a layer of complexity to a lovely and enjoyable wine.
