  1. WHAT ARE THE HOURS FOR THE WINE TASTING EXPERIENCE?
    Reservations may be made for Tasting Experiences Thursday thru Sunday, 11am-5pm.
  2. WHAT ARE THE WINE SHOP HOURS?
    Bogle’s Wine Shop will be open daily 10am-5pm, no reservations required. The Wine Shop is located in what was previously the downstairs tasting room. You will be able to purchase wine, browse regionally sourced food and crafts, peruse the newest Bogle apparel, and pick up any wine orders or wine club shipments.
  3. WHAT IS THE COST OF THE TASTING EXPERIENCE AND WHAT IS INCLUDED?
    Reservations are $20 per person/$15 per club member. Groups of up to 6 guests will be guided through an hour and a half seated experience in which you will select your own customized flight from our wide range of traditional and limited release wine offerings.
  4. HOW DO I MAKE RESERVATIONS?
    It’s easy to make reservations! Simply go to our website and click VISIT US, where you’ll see the RESERVATIONS tab. Or you can call us directly at 916/744-1092 and someone will be happy to help you.
  5. HOW DO I CANCEL OR MODIFY MY RESERVATION?
    If you made your reservation online, you can also cancel or change it online as well. You can also call us directly at 916/744-1092 and we’ll be happy to help you.
  6. WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY AHEAD OF TIME? WHAT IF SOMETHING CHANGES AND WE CAN’T MAKE IT?
    In order to assure that we can create your customized, unique tasting experience, we need to ensure that our staff is in place and ready for your arrival. If something happens and you can’t make it, we are happy to offer full refunds of your tasting fees up to 48 hours in advance of your scheduled tasting.
  7. THE TASTING FEE USED TO BE APPLIED BACK TO MY PURCHASE? WHY ISN’T THIS STILL THE CASE?
    We have created an elevated tasting experience here at Bogle. With each seated, guided tasting, guests will be given individual attention, care and service and the cost reflects that.
  8. WHAT IF WE DON’T WANT TO DO THE SIT-DOWN, GUIDED TASTING EXPERIENCE?
    At our Home Ranch, you can reserve a guided tasting or you can reserve a picnic table for your group in a more casual setting. Both experiences are available Thursday-Sunday, 11am-5pm. Club members may reserve picnic tables on club-only days Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday as well.
  9. IF I DON’T HAVE A RESERVATION, CAN I JUST COME AND ENJOY THE GROUNDS?
    The lawn area and grounds are now reserved for our guests who will be joining us for a tasting experience or picnic Thursday -Sunday. Club members may reserve patio access on our club member days of Mon-Tues-Wed by making a reservation online.
  10. WHAT IF I AM A DESIGNATED DRIVER OR AM NOT DRINKING?
    We appreciate that you’ve thought ahead and have someone who will be responsibly driving the day of your visit. Reservations for designated drivers or non-drinking guests age 13 and older will be $10 and include sparkling water or cider to enjoy during your visit, and are part of the guest count of your group.
  11. CAN WE STAY ONSITE AFTER OUR TASTING IS COMPLETED?
    We’ve been working hard on our grounds, so that there are more spaces to enjoy when you’re finished with your tasting. We encourage you to grab a glass or bottle of wine to linger with, perhaps on our newly appointed Vineyard Patio.
  12. CAN WE STILL PICNIC ON THE GRASS?
    We know you love to relax and enjoy an afternoon at Bogle, so we have created a special picnic area where guests may reserve a table Thursday through Sunday. You’ll bring your own picnic lunch, and we’ll provide the rest: your choice of two bottles from our traditional wine list (or one reserve/limited release), six take-away glasses, a corkscrew, and a tote bag to take home. This two-and-a-half-hour reservation costs $100 for up to six guests. (Note: there is no tasting experience included with the picnic reservation.) Reservations can be made through our website or by calling 916/744-1092.
  13. CAN WE BRING FOOD TO HAVE WITH OUR TASTING?
    Outside food is only allowed in our designated picnic area, with a reservation. There is no outside food allowed during tasting experiences, but guests may purchase one of our cheese and charcuterie boxes at the time you make your reservation. All other alcoholic beverages are prohibited, including other wines, beer, and seltzers.
  14. CAN I BRING MY OWN CHAIRS, ICE CHEST AND BLANKET FOR THE LAWN AREA?
    With our new picnic area provided, we are no longer allowing guests to bring their own tables, chairs, tents, ice chests or blankets for use on the grounds.
  15. WHAT BENEFITS DO I GET AS A WINE CLUB MEMBER WITH THIS NEW EXPERIENCE?
    We are so excited to offer members-only days, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, when only club members have the ability to make reservations for our picnic area.  Reservations for picnic tables are always FREE for club members (a $100 value!)  Club members may also make a reservation on Mon-Tues-Wed to access the Vineyard Patio space, where you can enjoy a bottle of wine, cheeses or charcuterie purchased in the Wine Shop, or the view, all by itself.  Club members also receive discounted tasting fees for up to 6 people total per visit and will continue to receive 20% off all wine and merchandise purchases.
  16. CAN MY GUESTS RECEIVE MY CLUB DISCOUNT?
    Of course, we will be delighted to extend your discount to any guests who accompany you to the winery.
  17. ARE CHILDREN OR YOUNG ADULTS UNDER 21 ALLOWED?
    We are a family-owned business and love including children in learning about wine at a young age. Please note that children 12 and under, excluding infants and babies being held, are considered part of your total guest count and must be seated with your group the entire visit. Reservations for all guests 12 and under are FREE and include sparkling cider or water and fun activities they can complete at your table.
  18. ARE PETS PERMITTED?
    While we love our four-legged friends, we do not allow pets at the Home Ranch. On duty service animals are welcome, of course.
  19. DO YOU HONOR AN INDUSTRY DISCOUNT, AND IF SO, WILL MY GUEST RECEIVE MY DISCOUNT AS WELL?
    We do honor a 30% industry discount on tastings, wine and merchandise and are happy to extend that to one additional guest. Industry discounts will be applied after arrival when business credentials are provided.
  20. WHAT OTHER DISCOUNTS DO YOU OFFER AT YOUR WINE SHOP?
    Guests who bring their Bogle wine bag back to be reused will receive an additional 5% off on their order.  We will also be offering an additional 5% discount for anyone with a valid military ID, in honor of their service to our country.
  21. IF I’M A WINE CLUB MEMBER PICKING UP MY SHIPMENT IN THE WINE SHOP, MAY I TASTE MY CLUB SELECTIONS?
    Our Wine Shop Attendants will be happy to offer you a small taste of the wines that are in your current shipment only, just in case you’d like to purchase more while you are here or swap a selection.
  22. AFTER MY TASTING IS OVER, CAN I START A TAB AND GRAB MORE WINE THROUGHOUT THE AFTERNOON?
    Yes, of course. We are happy to have you linger on the grounds while you enjoy more of our wines. We simply ask that you enjoy responsibly, of course.
  23. WILL YOU BE SELLING SNACKS AND FOOD?
    The Wine Shop will be stocking a small selection of cheeses, crackers, and snacks. We encourage guests to purchase these for take away to enjoy with their wines at home, or if there is seating available on our patio, they can enjoy them there.
  24. WILL YOU EVER DO EVENTS AGAIN?
    We certainly intend to! While they may look a bit different depending on local and state policies, we look forward to the day when we can offer live music, movie nights, wine and cheese seminars, and other fun events at our Home Ranch.
  25. CAN I RESERVE THE PATIO, GROUNDS, OR OTHER SPACE AT BOGLE FOR MY PRIVATE PARTY OR EVENT?
    As this time, we are not accepting reservations for private events.  We hope to be able to do so in the future.
  26. I’D LIKE TO BE ABLE TO CELEBRATE AT BOGLE.  CAN I RESERVE MULTIPLE PICNIC TABLES FOR MY PARTY GREATER THAN 6?
    With our new elevated experience, we are not allowing guests to celebrate with larger groups at this time, in order to preserve the integrity of the experience for all guests.  We ask that Guests not bring balloons, banners, signs, confetti or other decorations to the Home Ranch.  Music and speakers are also not allowed.
