What a year this has been! Our family is extremely grateful for a successful harvest in the books. Our last vineyard was harvested and crushed last week, and all wines are now going through fermentations and beginning the aging process: some in barrels and some in tanks. Winemakers will keep an “eye” on them, meaning much tasting and testing. Each lot will get the care, attention, and hand-crafting it deserves. Our first 2020 vintages, lighter-style white wines, will hit the bottle early next year. How’s that for something to look forward to?
In the meantime, we remain grateful for so much during this season of giving thanks. We are grateful we were unaffected by the massive wildfires. We thank our employees who worked tirelessly this year under new workplace conditions. We thank our industry partners for their hard work in the marketplace. And we thank our customers for enjoying our wines during this remarkable year.
Cheers to you this season,
Warren, Jody, and Ryan Bogle
Another wildfire season has ravaged California. This year we saw our neighbors in Napa and Sonoma counties take huge hits to their wineries, their vineyards, and their homes. The losses are staggering and heartbreaking.
Our family considers itself lucky to be relatively out of harm’s way in the Sacramento River Delta, and we wanted to take action to help. We have donated $15,000 to the American Red Cross for their wildfire relief efforts and would love for you to consider making a donation as well. We have pledged to match your donations, up to a total contribution of $25,000, so any amount helps. CLICK HERE TO DONATE!
Another way to support our neighbors affected by these terrible fires is to purchase a bottle of Napa or Sonoma wine. Please consider supporting these hard-working vintners and join us as Bogle Gives Back.
