Deeply colored and intense from grapes grown on the hillsides of the Sierra Nevada foothills, this wine is concentrated and complex. Dark plums, raspberries and black currants permeate the senses, while dusty mocha and pipe tobacco enhance the aromatics. Finishes with ample, chalky tannins and touches of vanilla bean and caramel.
