1 cup of warm water
6 ounces tomato sauceKG
12 ounces shredded mozzarella
1/2 pound organic ground beef
1 tablespoon dried oregano – divided
1 tablespoon garlic salt
1 tablespoon dried basil- divided
3 tablespoons oil- olive or vegetable
1 teaspoon salt for beef
1 teaspoon black pepper for beef
1 tablespoon Parmesan
1/4 pound thinly sliced pepperoni

Cooking Instructions

In a glass bowl add warmed water- not hotter than 120 degrees or it will kill the yeast.

Add yeast and stir until yeast dissolves.

Add honey and sugar and stir to dissolve. Add 1 teaspoon basil, and oregano.

Add oil and 2 1/2 cups of flour. Cover with towel and let rise for up to 3 hours.

In a frying pan brown the beef. Add 1 teaspoon oregano, 1 teaspoon basil, salt, and pepper. Once fully cooked drain and remove from heat.

Divide the dough into 2 parts

Using the remaining flour, pat out the pizza onto a pizza or cookie pan. (makes 2 pizzas)

Turn oven on 425 degrees

Add all remaining herbs and garlic salt to the tomato sauce and mix. Pour 3 ounces of tomato sauce to each pizza and using a spoon spread the sauce to the edge of the dough.

If using a block of mozzarella- shred the mozzarella. if using a bag, open the bag.

Spread 6 ounces of mozzarella onto each pizza. Add pepperoni to each pizza. Top each pizza with the cooled meat. Sprinkle each pizza with 1/ tablespoon of parmesan

Bake 16-18 minutes- until dough had browned.

Cool, cut into slices. Eat 🙂
