The diverse and welcoming city of Austin has long been known for its arts, music and culture. As both a college town and state capitol, the vibe in Austin is just plain entertaining! Last month, Bogle was proud to be an official sponsor of the 2021 Austin Film Festival.

Showcasing our passion for the arts, our family was excited to sponsor the 28^th annual event, which ran eight full days in October. The AFF’s mission to further the craft of storytelling by championing hard work and creativity is something we try to do with each vintage and each bottle. “Every bottle of wine tells a story,” says Ryan Bogle, who attended the festival. “It is fun to think that each glass might inspire a fledgling writer or filmmaker as well.”

As the official wine sponsor, Bogle wines were poured at all the venues, including the Opening Night Reception, Late Night Welcome Party, Film Texas BBQ Supper, Writer’s Wine Tasting and “Hair of the Dog” Brunch.  The highlight of the week was the premiere of our short film, Flora’s Place, the short film we created based on last year’s winning entry in our Phantom ghost story writing contest. Coupled with our event “A Night of Ghost Stories” in which artists presented their original ghost story to Ryan and Jody Bogle in the allegedly haunted Driskill Hotel, the AFF was fun, enlightening and entertaining.
