DIY Wine Chiller

The sunshine season is upon us and our new favorite way to keep our wine perfectly chilled for that next event is the DIY wine chiller. It’s customizable, works for any season, and is always beautiful!

SUPPLIES

  • Favorite bottle of Bogle
  • Filtered or boiled water
  • Your choice of fillers
  • Ice bucket mold (or two well sized buckets/bowls of your choice)

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1. Fill the mold 1/3 of the way with filtered or pre-boiled water.

  • Using filtered or pre-boiled water is not necessary for function but will help the water stay clear after freezing so you can see the fillers better!

Step 2. Push in and arrange your fillers in your desired pattern.

Step 3. Add more water until full.

Step 4. Place in freezer for at least 12 hours.

Step 5. To remove mold, fill the center hole with warm water and let sit a few minutes, then rinse the outside under running warm water. Turn the mold upside down and it should slip right out!

Step 6. Place into the holder the mold came with or style it in a low edge ceramic bowl. Grab your favorite bottle of Bogle and place in the center of the wine chiller!

The beautiful arrangement should stay frozen for 4 – 8 hours. For more ideas on chilling wine, see our post about how to chill wine quickly or how to make wine ice molds!

Cheers!
