Pizza is classic. Pizza is legendary. But most of all pizza is E.A.S.Y. When you think about it, you can make pizza out of just about anything. We made a pizza from a heel of sourdough, some canned tomato sauce, and bagged mozzarella just last week, and it was pretty darn good!
Crust: It all starts with your favorite crust. Do you like to roll your own dough? Buy it already made? Use naan or a gluten-free cauliflower crust? Seriously, this is a personal choice. Go with whatever works…or…whatever you have in the cupboard!
Sauce: From classic tomato, to exciting Asian-spicy, to fresh pesto, to comforting alfredo… there’s a sauce for every mood. Pick one and go with it!
Toppings: What’s in your pantry? What’s fresh at the farmer’s market? What’s in the fridge that you need to use up? A protein + lots of veggies is pretty standard…but experiment with whatever sounds good.
