Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, pie spice and salt in a large bowl, mixing well.
Whisk the milk, puree, eggs, butter and vanilla in a medium bowl.
Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, whisking until just smooth.
Cook batter on a skillet over medium high heat, turning just once, until both sides are gorgeous and brown.
Serve with maple syrup or homemade apple butter and try with the Bogle Chardonnay!
